Northern Architectural Systems (NAS) is the wall systems subsidiary of Northern Building Products. Together we offer complete lines of curtain and window wall, storefront and architectural window and door products to meet a wide variety of applications and performance requirements.
Established in 1956, and headquartered in a 115,000 square foot manufacturing facility in
Teterboro, New Jersey, Northern Building Products is a premier producer of energy-saving customized aluminum windows and doors for mid to high-rise residential, commercial, government and public use buildings.
NAS operates a 50,000 square foot facility in Johnstown, NY and is ideally situated to service customers throughout all of the North East. We maintain a complete inventory of
standard storefront profiles in four stock finishes, stock size narrow stile doors and frames and offer complete custom fabrication of narrow, medium and wide stile doors and stick-built (field glazed) curtain wall. Our fabrication facility provides infrastructure specifically designed for efficient design and manufacturing of complex wall sections needing close tolerances.
Our facility just outside of Albany, NY is strategically located close to raw material sources and all major North East and substantial sections of the South East and Mid West markets for its wall
systems. This allows NAS end-user customers to earn important US Green Building Council LEED Green Building Certification points for sustainable, high-performance construction methods.
We can offer fast turn around on custom profiles and custom anodized and Kynar paint
finishes as well. By partnering with certified PPG gold star applicators for Duranar
Finishes (Per AAMA 2605), NAS can offer up to a 20 year warrantee on Kynar based finishes.
NAS has a wide variety of precision efficient equipment including three Elumatec SBZ series 4 axis long bed machining centers (CNC's) which anchor the fabrication
department capabilities. Additional features include job shop (customer material) fabrication, small part fabrication, cutting, notching, welding, compound mitering, and special packaging.
